Swansea City boss Roberto Martinez is delighted with last night's Carling Cup draw after being paired with Premier League new boys HullCity at the Liberty Stadium.
"It's a fantastic draw,'' said Roberto. "When you wait for a cup draw you hope for two things; firstly a home tie and secondly a Premier League club.
"We've got both of them, plus a bit of history thrown in as well.
"When we played Hull at the Vetch Field back in May 2003, it was probably the most important 90 minutes in the club's history as we needed the win to stay in the league.
"This time it will be nice to welcome them to the Liberty Stadium for the first time with, I'm glad to say, the club in a totally different position.''
The tie will also see former Swans defender Sam Ricketts return to the Liberty.
"We'll look forward to welcoming Sam back,'' added Roberto. "I'm sure it will be a fantastic experience for him as well.''
The second round tie will be played on Tuesday, August 26 at 7.45pm.
Ticket prices are £12 for adults; £7 for concessions and unaccompanied U16s; £4 for accompanied U16s.
They are now on general sale, but season ticket holders have until next Saturday, August 23, to reserve and purchase their existing seat.
